Service Description

Step into a traditional tatami setting and experience Japanese tea as a living art form. This intimate gathering is designed for those seeking refinement, cultural depth, and a moment outside of ordinary time. Rooted in classical Japanese tea practice and seasonal aesthetics, this experience invites you to slow down and engage fully with ritual, taste, and atmosphere. What to Expect: Arrival & Threshold Guests are welcomed into a traditional tatami space. Shoes are removed, and a brief orientation introduces the seasonal theme and the philosophy of Japanese tea. Seasonal Wagashi (Sweets) Hand-selected Japanese confections are served first, with discussion of their symbolism, design, and seasonal inspiration. Formal Demonstration An Urasenke tea preparation is performed in a traditional style, allowing guests to observe the choreography, silence, and intention of the practice. Guided Participation Each guest will have the opportunity to whisk and enjoy their own bowl of matcha under gentle instruction.
